This is great! I also don't want to do NaNoWriMo. I need to get my manuscript in shape. Yes, I need more words, but I also need a timeline and character sketches and to play around with structure. Those don't help with word count, still it's a lot of work. I'm in! Did my toggle.
This is perfect! I’ve pivoted to picture books, so NaNoWriMo doesn’t work for me. No picture book should be that long.

Sometimes you're drafting, sometimes--most times really--other things. I think we kind of get caught up in the idea of drafting words words words...
