One big thing (no pun intended) was the validation that writing is, indeed, fundamental to my being—the "year to live" scenario would definitely include finishing my current manuscript (and probably doing at least a newsletter/blog version of my next idea, too!).
I am also getting curious about ways I am probably holding back with my current draft. I'm about to do a massive restructuring, so it's a good opportunity to keep some of those larger questions in mind as I do this next revision.
I'm excited! Am I the only one that got a little emotional listening to this?
