Ready to Write With Us This Summer?
The Blueprint Summer Challenge starts July 2 for paid subscribers
This is Jennie Nash here, announcing the #amwriting Blueprint Summer Challenge.
The Blueprint is a method of inquiry I developed to lay a strong foundation for your book — for any book. It’s not about the craft of writing or building an author platform or any of the steps that come later in the writing life. It’s about understanding what you are doing and why you are doing it so that you can have clarity and confidence.
I believe that putting your butt in the chair and your head in the game for this particular stage of the process is one of the most powerful things you can do for the success of your book.
The Blueprint method will be effective for you if:
You have a new idea for a novel, a memoir, or a nonfiction book you want to pin to the page.
You are stuck somewhere in the middle of a novel, a memoir, or a nonfiction book and can’t figure out how to get unstuck.
You are planning to revise a novel, a memoir, or a nonfiction book and feel overwhelmed by the enormity of the task.
It is not for you if you are cruising along in the writing phase. If you are doing that, keep writing! I mean, you are welcome to join the Blueprint Summer Challenge for a new idea or just because you want to meet other #amwriting writers and get insights from some book coaches, but make sure you put your big “get it done” energy toward your current project.
We’re going to be sharing more details about the Blueprint Summer Challenge in the coming days — we have 10 podcast episodes on the Blueprint steps, four Author Accelerator certified book coaches who will be answering your questions in our chat for 10 weeks (+ I’ll be joining in on that, too), some write-along sessions, a workbook to guide you, free digital downloads of my Blueprint book, and the chance to win a full Blueprint review from me and KJ at the end.
#amwriting paid subscribers will have the chance to sign up for all this starting next week. It won’t be a lot of work and it won’t take a lot of time, but you *may* find yourself solving problems and making decisions about your book while driving carpool or taking a shower or lounging by the pool, which we think makes for a happy summer!
